2. A technical etude or solo of your choosing.  This should indicate your technical ability.
3. Scales: Be prepared to perform major and chromatic scales throughout the practical range of your instrument.

Taped Auditions

Record the same as above on a VHS tape, MiniDV tape, DVD, Windows Media Player file, or Quicktime file. Please include your name, address, phone, and email address with your recording. Saturday, October 31: 10:00 A.M.

Saturday, March 20: Noon

All audition days begin with a brief meeting for students and parents in the MSU Band Hall.  There is no need to call ahead to schedule a specific audition time.

Students/Parents interested in touring campus housing should call the housing department to schedule a tour.  These tours are normally only available by appointment by calling 337-475-5606.
