McNeese Department of Performing Arts Announces Audition Dates:
Saturday, October 31 10:00 A.M.
Saturday, March 20 Noon
These are the official audition days for high school seniors interested in attending McNeese State University in the fall of 2010.
Students majoring in ANY academic area may audition for any of the following: Membership in the Cowboy Marching Band
Band Service Awards (scholarships)
Admittance into the music performance or music education degree programs, Department of Performing Arts Scholarships
or any combination of these.
Please see the “Future Cowboys” section of this website for information on audition materials/preparation. (Honor Band/All-State Audition Etudes are great to use)
We encourage students to audition early, and this is a great opportunity to secure a place with us in the fall (as well as scholarship money).
Auditions will begin in the band hall with a brief meeting for everyone.
