Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band is a 70-80 piece concert ensemble, conducted by our Assistant Director of Bands, Dr. Davaron Edwards. The band meets during the spring semester and is made up of students from various academic majors on campus.
The ensemble performs at least two concerts in the spring semester, consisting of a high level of literature.
The ensemble carries a band service award (scholarship) for all academically-qualifying students. Students are not required to audition for symphonic band (but must do an entrance audition, which also qualifies them for the service award).
