VIDEO: Fundamentals for McNeese Color Guard Auditions
Auditions for the marching band color guard are normally held the last Saturday of April or first Saturday of May each year. Video auditions are accepted on a case-by-case basis, but alternate audition dates are not possible.
Clinic/Contract (Audition) Day for Fall 2022 Color Guard
Saturday, May 7, 1:00pm-5:00pm
No prepared routines are necessary & flags will be provided. Candidates should wear SOLID BLACK dance attire and jazz shoes or sneakers. Participants will be evaluated on basic flag fundamentals as well as a short routine learned on site. Weapon auditions will take place later in the summer once all members are chosen on flag.
Please have hair pulled back and no jewelry.
Cell phones are not allowed and auditions will be closed to the public.
A $25 deposit is required for those selected for the team.
